Operation: Install the BMD-10mini on the desired place and connect the unit with 220VAC using the enclosed adapter. When the indicator lamp on front of the machine is illuminated the unit is ready to use.

Place a banknote in the middle of the BMD-10mini, the unit is switched on automatically and on the screen is the infrared picture of the banknote.

By moving and / or turning the banknote you can check all infrared safety aspects. Also you can check the ultraviolet safety aspects under the UV-lads.

When not in use for some time the BMD-10mini will switch off automatically. It is very important that the sensor in the feet of the machine is not covered when the unit is not in use.

If the BMD-10mini does not switch of automatically the lifetime will be much shorter. When the machine is not in use for a longer time please disconnect the power.

Control panel Operating Introduction

The button from left to right is: UV/WM, IR/BLINK, MICRO, LCD adjusting button+ , LCD adjusting button-, LCD adjusting Manu button, LCD button.

UV/WM button: it will switch from UV light, WM light, 850 IR light, and the corresponding referential light is blue, white, no, LCD open, getting the image from the camera, the external Microscope close.

IR/Flicker Button: The IR light will alternate between 850mm IR and 940mm IR, the UV light and WM light will be closed, the referential light of IRFlicker button open, LCD open reading the image of the camera, the external microscope close.

MICRO Button: Press the Micro button or press the button on the External Microscope, then the External Microscope function is open, the LCD display will show the information of external microscope. The referential light of Micro button, LCD will be open. If continue pressing this button, the function will be switch among UV, WM, IR.

Detecting Functions' Instruction
We should know not all the currencies in the world have UV, IR ,WM ,MG property. You have to know well with property of the notes you want to be detected. All the center banker of different countries will declare the security property . So the best way to detect the counterfeit notes is know well with the property of the original notes.
  • IR Function
    IR function is default open when the machine
    Please the Notes on the panel ,you will find the IR property of the notes showed in the LCD display. You will find shining image when open the IRFlicker , it will show the image of the notes under two different IR light, it will be much more better than only one sensor. Please note: There are different property from different countries' notes, you should find out the image of the original notes under IR ,and then compare the different from counterfeit and original.
  • UV/WM function
    The UV/WM function will open when pressed the WM button. You can check the UV/WM after opened .
  • MG function
    It will be open after opened the machine. Scrap the MG area ,then the machine will alarm by sound ,and the light will be red if the notes have right MG property. Magnifying function This machine with a External Microscope, it will be open after pressed the Micro button or the button on the External Microscope, the LCD display will show the information from External Microscope, and can switch from IR, WM , and UV lights.
  • Automatic reset functions
    When the Auto sensor be market by the notes , the LCD display will be opened automatic, using the IR function.
  • Dormancy function
    If the machine being idle more then 5 minutes , machine will be dormancy. All the function will be close , can reset press any button
Trouble Shooting

LCD do not have image 1. Make sure the plug connect well Connect the power
2. If the power switch is on Turn on the switch
LCD display not good, no color or too dark 1. Check the setting of the display 1. adjust it by the button backside of the machine
2. Check the angle of the display 2. turning the display until it face the operator directly.

  1. Disconnect the machine from power.
  2. Place the machine positions as Picture 1.
  3. Hold the center of the lamp by your thumb and forefinger, turn 90 angle, take off the UV lamp as Picture 2.
  4. Then place the new UV lamp in the same position where you took off the old one,then turn 90 angle.

Replace WM Lamp
  1. Press the Water-mark panel, push outside, then open as Picture 3.
  2. Hold the center of the lamp by your thumb and forefinger, turn 90 angle, take off the WM lamp as Picture 4.
  3. Then place the new WM lamp in the same position where you took off the old one,then turn 90 angle.

Maintenance
  • Do not operate the unit in areas with high temperature or high humidity since it may cause the machine refuse to work accurately or made user in danger.
  • Long time no using of the unit, please cut off the power.
  • For smooth working, please dust the unit to remain clean.
  • For accurate detection and counting, do not operate the unit under strong light.
  • Any abnormal affairs or troubles, please resolve in time or contact with sales.
  • Before operating the unit, please confirm if you made power connected.
